In 1996 Paul Bratcher foresaw a growing need for businesses to be able to draw on motivated additional senior technical skill. Joining either the executive team or a senior project team to help deliver solutions or engineer change within their business. This role needs to be able to;

  • understand and assist in the technology issues
  • bridge the gap between technology and the board
  • take ownership
  • manage people
  • deliver change
  • communicate effectively

To deliver this, ideas to implementation was formed.
